Synageva Biopharma Announces Pricing Of Public Offering Of Common Stock

LEXINGTON, Mass., January 5, 2012 -- Synageva BioPharma Corp. ("Synageva") (NASDAQ:GEVA), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutic products for rare disorders, today announced the pricing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of common stock consisting of 3,108,057 shares at $25.18 per share. In connection with this offering, Synageva granted to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase 466,209 additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.

Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan are acting as joint book-running managers in the offering, and Cowen and Company, Leerink Swann and Wedbush PacGrow Life Sciences are acting as co-managers in the offering.
